In the November/December 2008 issue of Road King longtime driver Tim Philmon told his story of rising up from a period of chaos in his life, determined to achieve success in trucking.

The events of 9/11 affected him deeply, coinciding with a time when he was dealing with a number of personal setbacks. So his participation in a 28-truck convoy to transport parts of the World Trade Center towers to be displayed in a museum was especially meaningful. The steel structures were being brought from New York back to Coatesville, Pa., the place where they were originally produced. Many people gathered along the route to cheer on the drivers. Tim was in the second truck of the convoy. Here he talks to a local newspaper about being part of the convoy. (The video clip opens with a local ad, followed by the interview.)
