Give Blood at MATS
The Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) has always been an event for drivers to have fun and be entertained. This year it’s also a place where truckers can make a difference. The Trucking Solutions Groups has partnered with the American Red Cross to sponsor the first blood drive at a major trucking show.
If you will be attending MATS on Friday April 1, stop by Booth 91470 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to donate blood. No appointment is necessary.
“Whenever there is a crisis or a need within a community, truck drivers and others within the trucking industry are some of the first to step up and respond,” says Linda Caffee, chairman of the Trucking Solutions Group Driver Health Council and a driver herself. “We’re all in this together! This blood drive provides the needed supplies to ensure that the American Red Cross can respon when they are needed.”
MATS is being held at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, Ky., March 31-April 2.
