Women Truckers Saluted
Women in Trucking Association is calling on female professional drivers to be part of a group photo that they hope will set a new world record. 
The organization is planning a Salute to Women Behind the Wheel. All women truckers are invited to attend and participate in the event at the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky. Everyone who joins in will receive a t-shirt for the photo. The goal is to have the photo show the largest gathering of female drivers ever.
“We want to honor the women who have been quietly doing their job in a male-dominated industry,” says Ellen Voie, WITA president and CEO.
MATS will take place March 25-27 at the Kentucky Expo in Louisville, Ky.
