The next time man lands on the moon, he’ll have a brand new set of wheels. As NASA prepares for a 2020 mission that will put a man on the moon for the first time since 1972, a new generation of concept vehicles are being dreamed up to meet the needs of lunar exploration. The first-ever lunar truck, now in development, is a “tricked out” version with gold trim. It features an active suspension and six-wheel drive with independent steering for each wheel.
