New Dodge Challenger SRT8 comes on strong
Call it nostalgia, call it devoted gearhead mania — the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is a success before it even hits the road. Sight unseen, the new incarnation of the classic muscle car drew 4,300 buyers on its first day of sale in December. A total of 6,000 people have slapped down a nice little deposit for a vehicle they won’t be able to drive until this spring. The completed car was first revealed in February. It’s priced at $37,995 and is available in black, silver and HEMI Orange.
